About the project

Niagara Region has completed a Schedule C Municipal Class Environmental Assessment including a detailed transportation assessment and detailed design and contract document preparation for Montrose Road (Regional Road 98) and Lyons Creek Road (Regional Road 47) / Biggar Road in Niagara Falls.

The scope of work involves road widening, QEW ramp realignment and improvements. This would support the planned South Niagara Hospital and growth in the area. This project also includes work on the Ministry of Transportation of Ontario-owned structures at the QEW / Lyons Creek Road interchange.
